Meta template categories
All outbound messages outside the 24-hour care window require approved templates categorized under:
- Marketing: Promotional announcements, discount vouchers, product releases.
- Utility: Order confirmations, shipping alerts, appointment reminders.
- Authentication: One-time passwords (OTPs) and account verification codes.
Variable rules
Placeholders must follow the {{1}}, {{2}} format. Meta requires sample variable values during submission to verify message context.
Syncing with Flow
In Automation → Templates, click Sync from Meta. Flow connects to your WABA and downloads all approved, pending, and rejected templates instantly.
