Why Cloud API

Flow talks to Meta Cloud API, not unofficial multi-device hacks. That means official templates, catalog, Flows, and conversation billing on your WABA.

What to copy from Meta

1. Phone Number ID
2. WhatsApp Business Account ID
3. Permanent access token (or a system user token)
4. App secret for webhook signatures

Webhook

Paste the webhook URL from Automation → Numbers into your Meta app. Use the printed verify token. Once subscribed to messages, incoming chats appear in the inbox within seconds.

Common mistakes

Using a test number in production, mixing tokens across apps, or forgetting to subscribe the WABA to the app are the usual blockers. The number settings screen shows the last webhook error when Meta rejects a payload.
